CIPD LEVEL 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice The Foundation level qualification will provide a firm foundation in all areas of HR including its impact on business sustainability. It will help you develop practical skills and give you the confidence to be more effective at work and add value to your HR function. You will be awarded CIPD Foundation Membership on achievement. Can also be studied as part of an HR Apprenticeship.

 Suitable for those who: • Are relatively new to HR • Are interested in a move into HR • Work in an HR Support role and wish to develop their knowledge and skills in order further their career • Line Managers who are actively involved in HR and those who have responsibility for HR activities and decisions within an organisation without a specialist function

 How are you assessed? The Foundation programme will be assessed by a mix of methods including assignments, presentations, case studies and competence assessment.

 Duration The Foundation qualification will typically take 10 months to complete.

 Level The Foundation Certificate in People Practice is Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) Level 3 in England and Northern Ireland. Credit and Qualifications Framework (CQFW) Level 3 in Wales. Comparable to Level 5 in Ireland, Level 6 in Scotland, Level 4 European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
